Samsung Galaxy has launched its new 5G smartphone M42South Korean tech giant Samsung has expanded its Galaxy M-Series. It has launched its new 5G-ready smartphone Galaxy M42 %G in India with the starting price of Rs. 21,999.
Currently, the smartphone comes with two storage models which involve a 6GB + 12GB variant and also an 8GB + 12GB variant at the cost of Rs. 21,999 and Rs. 23,999 respectively.
Well, as a part of the introductory offer, Samsung said that the user can purchase Galaxy M42 5G at a special price of around Rs. 19,999 and Rs. 21,999 respectively. You can avail this set at Samsung.com and Amazon sales in May. However, the 5G-ready smartphone is also available in select retail stores.
Aditya Babbar, Senior Director and Head, Mobile Marketing, Samsung India, said, “Samsung has the largest number of 5G devices globally and with the launch of Galaxy M42 5G, we are launching our first mid-range 5G smartphone in India.”
Samsung Galaxy M42 5G now comes with the Android 11 out of the box and supports the One UI3.1 interface.
Babbar mentioned, “All this makes Galaxy M42 5G the perfect 5G smartphone for our young millennials and Gen Z consumers who thrive on speed and comprehensive performance.”
Currently, the smartphone sports a 48MP quad-camera setup which involves an 8MP ultra-wide lens, 5MP macro lens, and 5MP depth sensor. It involves a 20MP front camera with “selfie focus” for the higher-resolution selfies.
The camera of this smartphone is well equipped with a plethora of features that involve Single Take but provides multiple photos and video outputs through a single click, Night Mode, Hyperlapse, Super-slow motion, Scene Optimiser, and Flaw Detection.
