Realme 8 5G set to launch on April 21, said to be rebranded V13 5G

Realme is all set for the launch of a brand new 5G smartphone later this month, most probably on April 21. And Realme 8 5G, the phone is said to be a rebranded version of the V13 5G. 

The Launch is being scheduled for April 21, and a short teaser has been released via Realme Thailand giving a closer look at the phone design. 

The phone is embedded with a sporting rectangular camera module on the back. The teaser doesn’t show the detailed look and not even the front side. But it is said to have a hole cut-out on the display. 

As per the GSMArena report, Realme 8 5G will come with an NFC chip, which was not available in its old version V13 5G. 

This show, Realme V13 5G, debuted in March alongside Realme GT Neo. The smartphone is now available in China for a basic price of CNY 1,599 that is INR 17,800. The handset comes in two color variants black and blue. It has a 6.5-inch display with full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate, and 180 touch sampling. The LCD panel delivers 600 nits of amazing brightness. The [punch hole cut out on the front side has an 8-megapixel camera. 

On the backside, Realme V13 5G has a triple camera setup that consists of a 48-megapixel primary sensor. It also has a 2-megapixel macro sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The handset runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. And is available in 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants. The software front has Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0 on top. It also packs a 5,000mAh battery with an 18W fast charging power. 

Lastly, in case you are wondering about connectivity, the smartphone supports Bluetooth 5.1, has a dual sim, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, it is also up with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
