Intel 14th Gen Luna Lake CPU leaked In Latest Linux Patches: Release Date Hinted

Intel one of the well-known multinational software firms “Intel” is preparing to commence the launch of its 11th Generation Rocket Lake Desktop CPUs. A recent rumor said that Intel is working on a 14th generation chip namely Luna Lake. Moreover, Luna Lake reportedly will replace the Meteor Lake Processors. It also says it initiated the development process for the rumored 14th generation Luna Lake Processors. 

Moreover, the term “Intel Luna Lake” processor was spotted by Coelacanth’s Dream through Videocardz on a page showing a patch that proposed support for the unannounced CPU. These pact notes are specifically for the Intel Ethernet Driver e1000e, which is a 1 Gbps NIC for Linux systems. The notes say that the support for Intel Meteor Lake CPU was added Last October 2020. 

Sources say that not many details or specs are being mentioned or are available currently. While the surprising and interesting part is that it hinted at an early launch or release date by the company. With the current advent of technology, AMD is already going ahead of intel when it comes to high-end processors. Even, the company is already preparing the second-round 7nm node CPUs from TSMC. 

Report suggests that it might be possible AMD would release its new Zen 4 by this year or early next year. It shows that Intel has a lot of catching up to do to be in the competition. As a fact, the Luna Lake CPU series will be substituting the Meteor Lake processors most probably by 2023 and 2024. Even one of the claims by AdoredTV states that Intel will deliver a mediator Alder lake refresh series, apparently called “Raptor Lake” roughly by 2022.  

Last year in November, Industry Insiders Moore’s Law shared a youtube video highlighting Intel’s future goals. As per the information, Meteor lake would be endowed on the new Redwood Cove architecture, built from the ground up. Even, the processor will see an impressive shift to 7nm. It also mentioned Luna Lake but carefully not disclosing much to prevent fans from speculating much about it. Lastly, 

Right now, there’s no concrete news or officially announced declarations about the Luna Lake CPU. prospects should wait as the launch schedule is always noun to numerous factors. Even, the product could be canceled before further movement. But at some point, it has also been seen that Luna Lake is in-ongoing works of Intel.
