Infosys co-founder Shibulal buys company shares worth Rs 100 crore

On Monday, Infosys founder SD Shibulal purchased shares worth Rs 100 crores of the IT major via an open market transaction. He bought over 7.45 lakh shares at an average rate of INR 1,342.05 per share, stated by BSE block deal data. 

The report suggest that by the end of the March 2021 quester, Shibulal held around 0.05% stakes in the firm. 

According to the separate transaction, Shibulal wife Kumari sold over 7.45 lakh shares on Monday at the same price range of Rs 1,342.05 per share. 

In addition, the shareholding data of March 2021 quarter, Kumari is a promoter of the company held 0.21% of stakes in the firm. 

Moreover, Shibulal had purchased the firm’s scrips of worth INR 100 crores on May 12 2021. 

The pricing of shares shows that on Monday the shares of Infosys ended 0.48% lower at INR 1,348.15 per share on the BSE.
