The killing of 5 armymen in a terror assault will no longer scoot unavenged, Indian Defence Secretary Giridhar Aramane said on Tuesday (July 9).

Following a militant assault in Indian remark of Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua on Monday (July 8) that claimed the lives of 5 soldiers, India indicated it could truly maybe retaliate.

The Defence Secretary expressed condolences to the families of the deceased.

Taking to the social media platform X, Aramane said, “I utter profound bother on the loss of 5 Bravehearts in a terrorist assault in Badnota, Kathua, and lengthen deepest condolences to the bereaved families.”

“Their selfless carrier to the nation will regularly be remembered & their sacrifice will no longer scoot unavenged and India will defeat the erroneous forces in the encourage of the assault,” he added.

On July 8, 5 navy personnel, which included a Junior Commissioned Officer, lost their lives and a number of others had been injured after the Indian Military convoy used to be attacked in the some distance off Machedi intention of Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district.

Around ten soldiers had been in an Military truck that used to be attacked by grenade and gunfire. A search operation has been launched to trace the terrorists.

Monday’s assault used to be the second on the Military inner two days.

Who are Kashmir Tigers?

The militant outfit Kashmir Tigers’ title came into limelight in January 2021 after the abrogation of Article 370 in India’s Jammu and Kashmir.
