A soldier of the Central Reserve Police Drive (CRPF) used to be killed in a gun attack by suspected militants at Mongbung village in Manipur’s Jiribam district on Sunday (July 14), the strategies agency PTI reported citing the police.

‘Soldier suffered bullet accidents to movement’

CM Biren condemns attack

In a put up on X, Manipur Chief Minister Biren Singh condemned the attack and prayed for the rapid restoration of the injured.

“I strongly condemn the killing of a CRPF personnel in an attack performed by an armed community, suspected to be Kuki militants, in Jiribam district nowadays,” Chief Minister Singh acknowledged.
