Bengaluru- the Oneplus founder Carl Pei’s technology startup Nothing has recently exposed it’s first product- a wireless pair of earphones termed as Ear 1 and will launch it next month in this year.
The company stated that the audience and market was asking for differentiation. In addition, the hyper Growth market of earphones will offer a fertile backdrop as the company will strengthen the capabilities and prepare to enter new product categories.
The company also stated that- while nothing got disclosed specific details for the product category. It stated Ear 1 will act as the initial point that will define the design and artistry of the earphones. It will also show the confidence and craftsmanship that will carry out product categories for years.
Last October, after the Company’s surprise exit, the Chinese born Swedish entrepreneur Carl had introduced a new venture Nothing in January 2021.
The budding venture plans to develop a bunch of smart connecting devices and consumer electronics to offer better substitutes to the audience base.
Talking about its funding, it had raised around $22 million to date from Alphabet’s GV and a bunch of prominent investors Tony Fadell, Twitch, Reddit CEO, PCH founder and CRED and more.
Apart from big investors, the London-based startup allowed the general public to participate in the community finding round earlier this year.
In February, Nothing appointed Samsung Executive Many Sharma as vice president and as general manager for the Indian branch.
Lastly, meanwhile it also roped in Swedish consumer electronics Firm teenage engineering founding partner of the organization. This organization is also known for developing electronic and audio products to offer a better product type in the marketplace.
