A South Carolina sheriff’s deputy was once shot and an armed suspect was once killed at some level of a shootout Friday, authorities said.
The shooting came about at The Court docket at Redstone complex in Indian Land, 20 miles south of Charlotte, North Carolina, Fox 46 Charlotte reported.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division said deputies with the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Problem of business were executing a search warrant at an condominium unit linked to a lacking person investigation. At some aspects, shots rang out.
The armed man and deputy were each and each wounded, authorities said. The suspected shooter died on the scene and the wounded deputy was once taken to a sanatorium.
